About Louise

I’m an MFL teacher and teacher trainer living and working in the Netherlands. I am married and have three teenage children. I love music and jogging and combining the two. I am also a secret book hoarder and have piles of books “to be read” – though the train journey is never quite long enough…..

In the past I have worked for the Radboud University Nijmegen and Titus Brandsma College (secondary school) and currently work for the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) where I’m a teacher trainer for both primary and secondary teacher trainees.

I love learning new things. I’m a bit of  a gadget freak and always like to try out new possibilities in my own teaching. I’m particularly interested in differentiation in all its forms and the effect it has on attitude and motivation in the EFL class.

NB: this blog is entirely personal and does not reflect the opinion of my employers.
